 (02 posts each for Women’s Ward under Centre  for Addiction  Medicine &  Step Down  Ward under Department of Nursing & 01 post for NIMHANS Integrated Centre for Yoga)

[01-SC,01-OBC,03-UR]

❍Educational Qualification = a) Pass in PUC or equivalent and b) Registered “A” Grade Nurse under any State Nursing Council  OR B.Sc Nursing with Registration under any state Nursing Council. 

❍Desirable = Diploma in Psychiatric  Nursing (DPN) / Diploma in  Neuro Nursing (DNN) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution / University. 

❍Experience = 2 years experience in a reputed hospital  (for non-degree holders)

❍Upper Age  limit = 30 years 

❍ ConsolidatedPay = 30,000 p.m.

❍ Period= On contract basis  for one year likely to be renewed for the 2nd  & 3rd  year  depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.

2.ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (Scheme-B)        

❍No. of post =  02 POSTS 

( 01 – UR, 01-OBC)  

❍ Educational Qualification  =    a) I or II class M.A./ M.Sc Degree in Psychology with Clinical Psychology as one of the subject or  equivalent qualification                                                       AND 

b) Ph.D /D.Sc in Clinical Psychology of a recognized University or equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution.

Experience =  3 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty obtaining the qualifying degree as above.

Upper Age limit = 50 Years 

Consolidated Pay =Rs. 80,000/-  pm 

Period= On contract basis upto 27.06.2017 & will be renewed beyond the said date based on approval from the Ministry & also depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.

3.VETERINARIAN

❍ Educational Qualification = Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Sciences

▶Experience= 2 years experience in large animal house of biomedical institution    

❍Upper Age limit  =30 years 

❍ Pay Band  =Rs.15600-39100/-

❍ Initial Pay in the Pay Band  =As per 7th CPC Basic Pay is Rs.56,100 P.M plus admissible allowances as per rules.

❍ Period  = On contract basis for a period of 06 months which can be extendable upto 3 years depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties or till the post is filled up on regular basis whichever is earlier.

❍Experience =Desirable:  Conversant with  modern technique on psycho diagnostic and psychological methods of treatment / research experience. 

❍Upper Age limit = 35 Years 

❍Pay Band = Rs. 9,300-34,800/-

▶Initial  Pay  in the PayBand =As per 7th  CPC Basic Pay  is  Rs.35,400/- P.M  plus admissible allowances  as per rules. 

▶Period  =On contract basis for one year likely to be renewed for the 2nd  & 3rd  year depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties.

👉 TERMS AND CONDITIONS:  

1. The prescribed application can be downloaded from this Institute website http://www.nimhans.ac.in  and submit along with:   

a) The candidates may download the Challan in quadruplicate from this Institute Website http://www.nimhans.ac.in and the prescribed application processing fee Rs.750/-(Rs.500/- in case of SC / ST candidates) shall be remitted through any fully computerized Nationalized Bank to State Bank of Mysore, NIMHANS Branch, Bengaluru. S.B. Account No: 64118462718 and IFSC Code No: SBMY0040675.   

b)  The application in prescribed form should be submitted along with the challan in original for having remitted prescribed application processing fee as stated above, so as to reach The  Director, NIMHANS, P.B.No.2900, Hosur Road, Bengaluru – 560 029, India, on or before  17.09.2016 upto 4.30 P.M.   

c)  Name of the post should be clearly specified in the application form as well as the postal cover.         

d)  Application Processing Fee once remitted cannot be refunded under any circumstances.  

 2. In service candidates should forward the application through their employers or produce      “No Objection Certificate” along with the application, failing which the candidate’s application will not be considered under the category of in service.   

3. Indian Nationals residing abroad can apply by giving full details of educational qualifications, teaching/research experience with copies of supportive documents together with an application processing fee of US $ 25 for each application.   

4. Candidates should enclose attested copies of certificates of age proof, academic qualifications, experience, caste etc.,  

5. No applications shall be entertained if it is incomplete/received after the last date prescribed/not forwarded through proper channel. The Institute will not take responsibility for postal delay if any.  

6. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EX-Serviceman candidates and Government Servants in service as per G.O.I rules. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EX-Serviceman has to submit relevant latest certificate/s in the prescribed form issued by the Competent Authority (Candidates applying under OBC Category should produce OBC Certificate in Annexure – A format enclosed).                                                                                                     

7. Latest OBC certificate containing mention regarding Creamy Layer for OBC candidates in case of their claim against the said category. The said OBC certificate shall be in the format prescribed by Government of India as per O.M dated 29.12.1993. (order No.3) (Appended). Certificates not in the said format will be summarily rejected. Applications without such certificates or certificates of BC/MBC without mention of Creamy layer will be considered against UR Category only subject to eligibility.  

8. The candidates belonging to SC/ST category should submit latest certificate issued by the Competent Authority failing which they will be considered against UR category only subject to eligibility.  

9. Candidates belonging to reserved category such as OBC, SC & ST may also apply for the vacancies notified against UR without relaxation in respect of Age as per O.M No.36011/1/98-Estt.(Res) dated 01.07.1998.  

10. The Call Letter will be sent only to Eligible candidates. No intimation will be sent for late applications and also for ineligible applications.
